2010 Old Hickory Adult Group Programs
At Old Hickory we offer a full range of Adult GroupPrograms to fit your busy schedule and get you better at the game of golf.
Adult Group Class - Level 1 (Beginner)
This class is intended to give adults the basic skills and understanding needed to play the game of golf. This is a 3-day six-hour class with the last day being held on the golf course. Each class is 2 hours. This class is excellent for the true beginner golfer or a golfer that has had some basic instruction but ha not progressed as quickly as they might prefer. Instruction will be geared toward providing students with the rotational movements necessary for a full swing as well as some putting and short game techniques. Maximum student to teacher ration of 8:1.

Short Game School (Any Level Welcome)
This is a fast paced, intensive one-day school aimed at providing you all the tools and knowledge needed to improve your short game. If you are struggling with your short game this one-day intensive school is perfect for you. Each student will be evaluated on approximately 20 different shots from putting to 50 yds away. Topics will include set up, trajectory control on shots around the green and the effect of each, ground conditions and how they affect shot selection, what type of shot to play and when to play it, sand play and more. Lunch is included. Student to teacher ratio is only 5:1 with a minimum class size of 2. ** This class is weather permitting |
