Philosophy My goal is to help you develop a golf swing that will allow you to swing the club with less effort while maximizing distance and control. With the proper sequencing of motion, the swing becomes more efficient. My experience has shown that visual images aid in seeing and feeling the correct movements. Building on and linking positive emotions with successful swings can create lasting memory and a repeatable swing. Using physical screens, I can assess any limitations to your body's flexibility and mobility. Together we can attain your personal goals, improve your swing, lower your scores, and have fun.
"Success is a journey not a destination. Limitations are mental and self imposed, they can be changed, but we will never outgrow the limitations that we place on ourselves." -- Bob Moawad: Increasing Human Effectiveness
Accomplishments Inducted into the PGA in June 2007 Third place finish in the 2005 MidAtlantic Pro-Asst tournament Low Tournament Round 70 Testimonials I am a relative beginner and Doug Cedeno made each lesson profitable and enjoyable. Since taking lessons I feel like I could actually play a round of golf and not be embarrassed. The thing I like the most about Doug was his ability to see what I was not doing and correcting it in several possible ways. If I was having difficulty doing what he suggested he would try another way of correcting it. He never gave up on me. -- Bobbie Bragg
Doug is very good at observing what you are doing and tailoring his instruction to build on what you are doing well. The use of video was particularly helpful to me as I am a very visual learner. Doug is a very personable and likeable young man. He was a lot of fun to work with and was always on purpose to get me better prepared. I look forward to each lesson with him. -- Harley Bragg
I've never worked closely with an instructor until I met Doug Cedeno. Once I began working with him and doing daily practice, there has been a steady decline in my scores to a point where now I've shot in the mid to low 80s in my last seven times out. I attribute this to Doug's experience and insights as well as his effortless golf swing. I'm swinging better now at 58 than when I was 30. I just wish we linked up 20 some years ago. Thank you for the time and effort you've given to improving my golf. -- Mark
I began playing golf as an adult in the early part of 2005 for fun with my girl friends. In the summer of 2007, I started taking lessons with Doug. By the end of 2008, I had won the most improved golfer at Belmont Country Club. I am really looking forward to next year and playing in the WGA events. Doug is a real good teacher, he is very patient and is interested in helping people improve their golf game. -- Kerry Cole
