Junior Class Content

Golfing Tykes (level 1) $250

Excellent class for beginner golfers who want an introduction to the game of golf.  Students will learn everything about the game of golf from terminology, rules, etiquette, putting, chipping, iron and wood play. 

-Extensive One week program. Upon completion of level one each student will be tested on criteria covered during the week.  Successful passing of level one tests will allow student the ability to enroll in Level two classes.

Golfing Tykes 2 (level 2) $250

- Excellent class for beginner golfers who have attended our level 1 or have tested high enough for entry into this level.
- Extensive One week program
- Students should have some basic knowledge of the golf swing, and course etiquette.  These juniors are a step away from playing a short course.
- Students should have some control over club and body movement
- Daily tests on rules and terminology 
- Criteria covered in this level is very similar as Level one – however, more attention is paid to execution, and the testing criteria is more difficult.
- Upon completion of level two each student will be tested on criteria covered during the week, successful passing of level two tests will allow student the ability to enroll in Level three classes.

Golfing Tykes (Level 3) $350
- For the juniors that have some experience playing a Par 3 course.  Are very close to playing a regular golf course or have played but with some difficulty.
- Class size is reduced to a maximum of 6 juniors per instructor
- Juniors should have an intermediate grasp of the golf swing, and course etiquette.
- From an ability standpoint – golfers should be able to hit a driver consistently 125yds, a 7iron 80yds and should have a basic understanding of how to read a green when putting.
- Juniors should be able to swing all clubs and remain in balance and in control at all times.
- Introduction of bunker play
- Emphasis will be placed on
- 25% of time will be spent on the course
- Juniors will be tested on material covered at end of camp for admission into level 4

Golfing Tykes (level 4) $500
- This is the last level of beginning golf classes.
- Students at this level should be able to use all clubs in their bag and all shots whether hit from a tee or ground should be airborne by this level
- Students at this point should be able to play a short course on their own and a regulation course with supervision.
- 50% of Students time is spent on course
- A strong grasp of course etiquette and rules is required.
- Class sized is reduced to a maximum of 5 juniors per instructor and the camp time is one hour longer per day
- Students that successfully pass the test are ready for our Golf School programs

All Students will receive
- Cliff Notes handbook of each days topic and a 2008 Snoopy Rules of Golf Book or USGA rules of golf
- A Raspberry Golf Academy Hat
- A Raspberry Golf Academy Shirt
- Golf Glove
- Lunch, snack and drinks each day
- 3 hours of professional instruction each day
- There are discounts for children that attend multiple weeks in the same year.
